Night Time Animal Friends Step-By-Step Acrylic Painting Self Paced Class (Teens)

In this 4 lesson directed painting Self Paced class learners will create a different acrylic during painting each lesson step-by-step along with Miss Jennie.

This is a SELF PACED class - which means there are NO LIVE CLASSES. Instructional videos will be posted for your learner to watch and paint along to, as well as optional classroom discussion. Students will be expected to also post photos of the work they have completed. The more your learner participates the more value they will get from this class!

This class is for any level of acrylic painting skill, and learners will be encouraged to add their own creative touch to their paintings. We will use a variety of acrylic painting techniques throughout the four painting projects.

The class theme for this series is "Night Time Friends"!

We will be painting these 4 pictures:
* "Spooky Owl" - an owl perched on a fence is silhouetted by fireflies
* "Moonlight Meow" - a cat sits in a tree silhouetted by the moon
* "Dragon Friend" - a dragon & a boy sit in front of the moon on a hill
* "Kitty in Paris" - a cat sits in a window overlooking the Eiffel Tower in in the moonlight

NOTE: Learners should be able to use a paintbrush with or without assistance.

Supply List:
* A canvas, canvas board, or multi-media paper (able to handle acrylic paint) to paint on each week
* A black paint marker or Sharpie
* Acrylic paints in a variety of colors (I use Arteza: https://amzn.to/3Ei33O7 )
* Several sizes of paint brushes
* A cup of water for rinsing your brushes
* A paint palette or paper plate
* Rag or paper towels
* Clothes that can get messy or an apron/large shirt to protect clothing from any art supplies used
* A hair dryer is recommended to speed up paint drying time
