Description
Class Experience
- Social Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for the Seattle Seahawks and NFL football! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills. - Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of the Seattle Seahawks and be able to express their analysis of the players, coaches, schemes, and games. - Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the Seattle Seahawks and the NFL.
I have played, coached, and now analyzed football for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different football teams in the NFL and NCAA.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Football is a contact sport and can lead to gruesome injuries. Typically, the broadcast team will flip to a different image and not zoom in on graphic injuries, but they do sometimes occur and appear during the broadcast.
