Class Experience
Social Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for fantasy football! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills. Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of fantasy football and be able to express their analysis of the same (and similar) games. Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the fantasy football.
I have played, coached, and now analyzed football for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different football teams in the NFL and NCAA.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Football is a contact sport and can lead to gruesome injuries. Typically, the broadcast team will flip to a different image and not zoom in on graphic injuries, but they do sometimes occur and appear during the broadcast.
