Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about the geography, culture, historical timeline, and a current event happening in Britain. They will gain knowledge of key vocabulary and concepts surrounding the news event taking place in Britain.
Teaching this specific style of current events class has been my joy for a long time! I have 16 years experience teaching middle and high school classrooms, and specifically delivering instruction at that level on the topic of social studies, world geography, and current events. I've also taught worldwide in multi-cultural environments in industry, and have several years experiences teaching on online platforms.
No homework is assigned for this class.
Learners will need to be able to write/type and have a microphone for discussion. Video is encouraged, but not required.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
There is no assessment in this course.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
