We'll have confetti, party hats, a craft, and noisemakers! In this one-time class of 5 kids max, everyone gets a turn. Come ring in the Western New Year with music, singing, rhymes, games, and a countdown to 12 o'clock. Pajamas encouraged!

Class experience

This class is taught in English.
Learners will gain an understanding of the concept of the Western New Year (Jan. 1) and get ready to celebrate it.
ESL: Ms. Christina began her career as an English and German teacher in Taiwan. 

EARLY LITERACY: She worked for seven years in the children's department of a large public library with a focus on Early Literacy and multilingual programming.

EDUCATION: Ms. Christina has a Bachelor of Arts degree in INTERNATIONAL POLITICS and GERMAN. She has a Master of Arts degree in INTERNATIONAL STUDIES with a language focus on MANDARIN CHINESE. 
Homework Offered
The homework is to help your child make a confetti thrower from a toilet paper roll and pieces of tissue paper.

Learners should bring a shaker (bells, rattle, shaky egg, maraca, or canister with dried rice, beans, or beads inside). They are welcome to wear their pajamas! If you want to participate in the confetti thrower craft (it's also okay just to watch the craft), please bring a toilet paper roll, two pieces of wrapping paper, and some tape.
Please be available to "unmute" your learner for their turn to speak, if they cannot "unmute" themselves.
