Come join me to learn and talk about the New Years Celebration! In this New Years-themed circle time, we will learn the letter “F”, learn the sight word “big”, read a few poems, learn the comparisons big/small and straight/curvy, and practice counting. We will end class by socializing about our favorite New Years family traditions and what we want to accomplish as a New Year goal/resolution. We will also share our worksheets (that will be provided and done during class) and play games to learn in a fun way! Join in on the fun!! See you soon!

Hello friends!
My name is Sonya Whitted, and I am an energetic, fun, and welcoming teacher who has a passion for teaching a wide variety of subjects. I have a BS in Exercise Physiology, I am a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, and I have a TESOL certification. Overall, I have 12 cumulative years of teaching experience. These experiences come from many different subjects such as 8 years teaching and coaching in the field of exercise physiology, 5 years teaching ESL online, 2 years teaching ESL in person, 3 years teaching as a daycare/preschool child specialist, 2 years teaching piano and voice lessons, and several summers teaching at a theatre camp.
From these experiences, and especially in the online format, I’ve learned the importance of making learners feel included, heard, and welcome. I strive for excellence in making my classes engaging, interactive, and student-driven. I love being a teacher and look forward to seeing your child in my classroom. :]
