Over the course of the semester, we’ll dive into a variety of songs and techniques, helping you develop essential guitar skills while having a blast with music. 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓, 𝒘𝒆'𝒍𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓: 🎸 Mastering Basic Chords: Learn the most important chords to play a variety of songs. 🎸 Playing Fun Songs: Discover a new song each week, from timeless classics to modern hits. 🎸Developing Strum Patterns: Build rhythm and strumming techniques. 🎸Exploring Melody and Riffs: Play simple melodies and guitar riffs that sound great. 🎸Reading Music: Learn to read tabs, chord diagrams, and basic musical notation. 𝑪𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒔 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆: Each class session will differ depending on the focus of the lesson, but you can expect some or all these elements to be present from week to week: 🎶Warm-Up: Start with basic finger exercises and warm-up patterns. 🎶Song Introduction: Jump into the song of the week, including key techniques. 🎶Chord Practice: Master the chords for the song. 🎶Strumming and Melody: Practice strumming patterns and melodies. 🎶Jam Session and Q&A: Play together, ask questions, and get feedback. No prior experience is needed to join this course. Whether you’re holding a ukulele for the first time or already know a few basics, this class will teach you everything you need to play confidently. Our friendly and supportive environment makes it easy for everyone to learn at their own pace and enjoy the process.

Learn the parts of the guitar, how to hold it, and basic chords. We'll start with G, C, and D chords.

Practice reading music notation and notes on the first string of the guitar. We’ll use these notes to play simple melodies.
