Students of all learning styles will gain knowledge while having a blast in this highly interactive, gamified class. We will achieve learning and interaction by using slide presentations, videos, quizzes, and activities. I encourage my learners to take ownership of their educational journey by reading, asking questions, participating in discussions, doing in-class activities, and playing games.

At the end of each class, we will use gamified platforms like Kahoot, Gimkit, Blooket, and Jeopardy so learners can show what they know in a game show format.

This class is a weekly subscription. Outschool processes payments on Sunday before the class meets. You will not pay the weekly fee if a class is not on the schedule. If your learner will be absent, you can pause for the upcoming session. It isn't possible to hold your seat without payment for the week.

I can send the class recording to students who have paid the fee for the week of absence. Outschool does not permit the sharing of videos during unpaid weeks.
Learning Goals
Learners will gain knowledge about how the brain works. They will also learn about the parts and functions of all major organ systems.

I love science, especially the field of biology. I hold a degree in psychology with a concentration in biology and English.

I enjoy teaching about the brain and witnessing the wonder when a learner discovers that theirs is brilliant and capable.

I am as much a student as I am a teacher. I enjoy exploring the latest research and sharing my findings with curious learners. I encourage active participation and empower students to ask questions, express their ideas, and share what they know.
