This Summer Reading Cub runs eight weeks during the summer because you don't want your learner to ever STOP reading. Summer reading is critical to a child's ability to not only retain information learned the previous year, but also to grow.

As a former teacher and Principal, my goal was to always get learners to read . . . and love it. As a young learner myself, I always had a book in my hand, day and night and even when I was supposed to be in bed, lights out and asleep. I can still hear my mom saying, "Okay, lights out in there. It's late and there's school tomorrow."

I've taught learners from 4 to adult to read on four different continents, so you can probably see that I love reading and teaching others to read.

It's my goal to select great reading material that hooks learners and increases there curiosity, interest, imagination and causes them to fall in love with reading. It can begin here with your learner on Outschool with "NEVER STOP Reading - A Summer Reading Club." 📚
