In this ongoing club, neurodiverse learners will meet to discuss preferred topics, practice social skills, and meet other neurodiverse kids. Students with autism, ADHD, etc. encouraged to participate!
Class experience
In this ongoing class, neurodiverse students will meet once/week to discuss preferred topics, meet other neurodiverse students, and talk about what makes them unique (or not so unique!). Each week, we will discuss different topics that the students come up with ahead of time- whether it be dinosaurs, vehicles, video games, sports, favorite fidgets, sensory toys, you name it. Students will submit preferred topics 24 hours prior to the group, and a list of discussion topics will be compiled....
I am a speech-language pathologist with 10 years of experience working with neurodivergent learners in the public school setting. I am also the mother to a 4 year old boy diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
