Lessons use a strength-based approach to equip learners with tools to help them navigate challenges and grow in autonomy, confidence, and self-esteem. This course covers a wide range of age-appropriate social-emotional skills, including self-advocacy, self-management, social awareness, self-awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. As in all of my private classes, learning goals are tailored to the individual needs of the learner. All brains are welcome. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or to request a different time for this course.

-Self-Management: Skills related to managing emotions, thoughts, and behaviors and setting and working towards goals.

-Social Awareness: Skills related to perspective-taking, understanding and navigating challenging social and behavioral expectations and sensory environments, and social support.

-Self-Awareness: Skills related to recognizing emotions and thoughts, knowing strengths and weaknesses, and developing a growth mindset.

-Relationship Skills: Skills related to establishing and maintaining relationships with others, effective communication, and negotiating conflict.

-Responsible Decision-Making: Skills related to making positive choices, problem-solving, and considering consequences.
