Description

Class Experience

For the first class, students will need a foam felting mat, needles (I recommend at least one size 32, one size 38 and one size 40, however whatever you have will work), 2 (ideally white) pipe cleaners, and core wool. The student will need about 3/4 of an ounce of core (base) wool (usually this is white). For the second class, they will also need about 1/2 ounce of another color for the dress, and if they want another skin tone (not the core wool color), they will need a tiny amount of that for hands and to cover the core wool on the face. They will also need something for the hair. Roving works well for this, but you could also have curly locks. I will go through some of the options during the first class, so the students will better understand what they need (and what the options are) after the first class. Students can purchase these items online at Felted Sky. Or if you message me on my Etsy shop GinghamTrundle (https://www.etsy.com/shop/GinghamTrundle), I can set up a private listing that will include everything needed for the class for $25 (that price includes shipping). (Please note that I can only guarantee shipment of materials if I have at least one week notice before the class begins.)
2 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
