In this one time course, we will explore ideas that young people can use to make money.

Class Experience

Spending money is fun, but how do you get it?  This one time course will explore various ideas that young people can use to make money...beyond, or instead of, an allowance.  We will look at creative solutions, and discuss ideas and experiences that those in the class already have. 

Students will explore age appropriate ideas that create “win-win” experiences. We will look at some successful business ideas, and how some young people have pursued incomes. We will talk about entrepreneurship,...

Students will gain some ideas that are age appropriate for generating income, outside of an allowance.

I have been a business owner for multiple years. I use spreadsheets on a daily basis, and have created multiple sheets for various purposes. I’ve taught multiple people (employees and students) how to confidently use spreadsheets to assist them in their jobs and daily lives.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
