Nature's Wonders: Exploring Rainbows

In this one-time class, we will explore types of rainbows and their true shape while examining wavelength, refraction, and visible light. (CEFR B1,B2,C1,C2)

Class experience

After completing this class learners will be able to:
❈	Demonstrate the concepts of refraction and reflection
❈	Explain the connection between wavelengths and visible colors
❈	Describe the actual shape of rainbows
❈	Recite various types of rainbows
❈	Identify some places rainbows are seen in nature
The learners will need a few sheets of blank white paper and coloring utensils (a box of crayons, pack of colored pencils, or pack of markers). 
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
