Class Experience

Homework is extremely minimal. Each week students will be asked to make at least one nature journal entry and pay special attention to the plants in their area. Optional homework will also be given. 
-notebook/journal (for nature journaling)
-colored pencils/crayons/markers/watercolors/etc.
-(optional) field guide or field guide smartphone app
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
With parental permission, students are encouraged to spend class time outdoors. Some students may require additional parental supervision during this period if this option is exercised. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions or concerns.
