I am offering "Nature Scavenger Hunt" so that students can gather together in a nurturing environment to engage with interesting tasks and the diversity of nature. My expertise in discussion and questioning strategies, as well as my passion for nature, makes me an excellent leader for this class.
After attending the live class for the week, students will:
-Complete the weekly nature scavenger hunt
-Complete your choice of student output (photo, video, drawings); this can be posted to the Outschool Classroom Homepage and/or brought to next week's class (instructions on page 3 in the attached class file)

Further details and instructions are found on pages 2 -3 in the attached class file.
 1 file available upon enrollment
Students should have access to an outdoor space for completing their nature scavenger hunts. It is highly recommended that adults accompany their students on the scavenger hunts. Printing the attached class file for reference is recommended, though not required. Printing the weekly nature scavenger hunt (once posted to the Outschool Classroom) is recommended, though not required. Depending on student choice, ability to take photos, record videos, and/or draw illustrations will be needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
If students need technological assistance, please provide as necessary. This may include accessing the digital class file and working the features in the Outschool classroom.
