Description
Class Experience
Strengthen your love of writing and drawing while enjoying time with nature, as we meet to discuss something from the natural environment, such as gloriously colorful autumn leaves. Gain valuable English skills in each class, as we highlight cool vocabulary words, and spotlight one specific writing skill that can be incorporated into our Notebooking experience, such as using alliteration, or working with tricky homonyms. Students will develop a love or writing. Students will gain confidence in illustrating and writing their thoughts. Students will practice language arts skills such as figurative language or homonyms. Students will de-stress with nature. Students will gain confidence in sharing written and illustrated works with a supportive group. Students will demonstrate encouragement of their peers.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
