Megan H. Rothrock is an award-winning Professional Photographer, Published Children’s Author, Teacher and Toy Designer. Her fascinating and eye-catching photographs have been featured in books, magazines, cards and online photo sites around the world. A passionate Shutter Bug she always has a camera near and enjoys exploring and capturing moments in nature to share with her audience. 

With an Education in Photography, Design and Animation she has many years of experience with both Digital and Traditional Photography. A recipient of the CSU Office of the Chancellor's Gallery Award for Innovative Photography, she also has had the pleasure of working with leading experts from: National Geographic, Adobe Software, Rolling Stone Magazine and more!
Homework Offered
Weekly Photography Challenges will be assigned and will carry through week to week. The time Students decide to spend could vary from 30 minutes to an hour.
1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

SNAPIX is the one I’m using for the course, it’s very good quality and price and is a great starter kit for Phone Photography! Please feel free to ask me should you have any questions. 

Also good to have:

Micro Fiber (glasses) soft cleaning cloth 
A watch or timer
Small spray bottle to hold water
Zip-lock bag or other plastic bag to hold water bottle 
A few spare Zip-lock bags
Small towel 
Small camera, hip bag or backpack to carry equipment 
Insect repellent 
Sun screen, hat and or protective clothing to protect your skin while outside
Water Bottle with water to keep hydrated 
*Anyone with any allergies needs to be prepared with their medications
*If around a wooded area it's always good to have a buddy along
