Description
Class Experience
Welcome to Nature Journaling for Explorers! In this ongoing class, learners will learn how to document their nature discoveries and share their discoveries with others. This class is best for students who have basic scissor skills, are able to create simple shapes (square, circle), and actively follow (or put in a good effort to follow!) one-step directions. Students do not need to be able to read to take this class! After we greet each other, I will begin class by sharing my nature...
Spend some time outside and collect an artifact (leaf, blade of grass, flower, acorn, etc.) or story to share with the class!
-Notebook or paper that can be bound together to create a journal -Crayons, pencil, and or colored pencils If students are bringing an artifact to share and record in their notebook they will also need: -Glue (liquid glue will probably work better than a glue stick)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
