I am an experienced educator, as I have spent over 25 years in the education of children. I have worked for 10 years as a public school teacher. There, I taught various ages of children with a variety of educational needs, through my work as a certified special needs teacher & intervention specialist. During my college summers I worked in camp leadership serving inner-city children in an outdoor setting. I currently home-school my 2 teen boys and have for the past 15+ years. I have taught nature study classes at my home-school co-op, taught art at a private school and I also work with local parks as a certified volunteer naturalist in historical interpretation and nature education. I have been a distance educator on Outschool since 2016.
