Description
Class Experience
Students will gain an appreciation for: The rewards of patient scientific observation The power that young people have to make scientific breakthroughs They will also practice the skills of: Drawing a still life Observing minute differences between different animal specimens
Learners will need: White paper (ideally watercolor paper, but most paper will work. Min. 8.5x11in.) Several paintbrushes- fine point and medium for a more delicate picture Cup(s) of water Water color paints with 8-10 common colors Optional towel to wipe off their brushes periodically A covered table or other surface on which they can paint
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
