Nature Craft is a series of arts & nature-based learning experiences especially designed for learners aged 5-10 to cultivate a relationship to the natural world by means of craft-art projects. This course utilizes materials that are readily accessible in the child’s natural environment as well as materials that can be sourced locally. This multi-day week course encourages children to develop a sense of awe and appreciation and inspiration about our natural world. These learning experiences encourage children to explore and develop their creativity and imagination.
A resource and suggested material list will be provided in the classroom after registration; however, the basic materials needed are an array of natural botanicals, floral wire and a collections of ribbons or twine or string/yarn- and basic art supplies
7 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Parental Guidance needed for use of scissors and wire wrapping and twisting for our mother earth crowns
