What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hours per weekClass Experience
In this ongoing class, we will color or draw pictures and discuss our outdoor adventures. This will be a relaxed environment where everyone will have an opportunity to speak and share. Each week will be focused on a nature theme (animals, plants, places). I will provide 3-4 coloring pages based on that theme. I will also share fun and useful facts. Learners are encouraged to share their information and experience as well. Themes will be chosen based on learner interest and could include animals, plants, nature destinations, and outdoor hobbies. The first class (week of May 2) will focus on tadpoles and frogs. Classes after that will be based on student interest and will be announced on the class page each week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
My classes focus on areas where students may be struggling. By teaching skills in a different way, I hope to deepen my students understanding of a topic. When teaching, I modify my instruction to fit the strengths and needs of my individual students. Please reach out to me before class if have anything specific to share about your child!
I have certifications in special education, elementary education, and reading. I am also a National Geographic Certified Educator. I taught 6 years before deciding to stay home with my two children who are now 4 and 6.
The underlying goal of every lesson is to inspire students to feel excited and confident in their own learning ability. Each child learns in different ways, but I believe every child has the ability to succeed!
