Nature Art Class: Explore the Element of Color Through Flowers!

🎨 Explore warm and cool colors while learning to draw flowers!
This course is ideal for 2nd-6th graders. 

🌺 We'll dive deep into the traditional element of color, and then mix it with parts of a flower...and pollination!

🌻 In this mini course, your learner will learn all about plants through art. Using easy-to-access materials, learners create drawings and projects that reflect the plant-topic of the week.

{Class Schedule}
Week 1: Two videos/projects teaching your child about the element of color, how to categorize it, and how to draw with it.
Week 2: Two videos/projects discovering the parts of a flower and the process of pollination--while also learning to sketch with basic lines and colors.
Week 3: Scavenger hunt video where your child can go outside (or visit a local grocery store if it's too cold out) and gather flowers from different color families for the final project. The 2nd video combines everything your student has learned into one final project.

{How it works}
In this class, you get 2 video art lessons per week. That totals to 5 ART VIDEO LESSONS and 1 NATURE SCAVENGER HUNT!
I've set up this mini-course to be done within 3 weeks. However, there is SO much content in here that it could easily be spread out into 1-2 months.

{Extra info}
-Younger students (6-8) are allowed to take this class. However, if your learner does not have a strong drawing hand yet, I would encourage you to be ready to assist or to pair them with an older sibling. 
-Optional: You can place all the finished drawings and projects into a 3-ring binder (I did!). They're all vertical so it works nicely. This also creates a great resource for future reference.
