This class is meant to be an introduction to the nature journal as a scientific tool. Please be aware that the focus of our journals will be direct scientific observation rather than artistic expression. Students should have a notebook of choice to use as a nature journal. This may be a sketchbook, a composition book, a dot journal, a regular spiral bound journal, or any other notebook of choice. While the focus of this class is not drawing, those who wish to include drawings may use any drawing implements of their choosing.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
