In this ongoing course, students will explore the world for important resources while learning about their historical and future significance to our lives. Students will learn about how our natural resources powered our lives in the past and how they will shape our future. This class will focus on the importance of each resource, the value to our lives, information regarding economic importance, and some of the ways we may unexpectedly be using them. I am a Geologist and Homeschool Mom who loves all things science and teaching....and learning. My hope is to teach young students about the world around us and how we interact with it daily so that they understand and appreciate it.
Any required supplies will be listed in the classroom a week before the class starts by Sunday. Most supplies, if any, are things you already have in your home.
