Welcome to the ultimate adventure in "Natural Disaster Survival Modded"! 🚀🔥 In this pumped-up version, there are free game passes for everyone, plus a bunch of extra cool features to spice things up! Picture this: our class meets in my private server, diving into multiple rounds of the modded madness. With random maps and a variety of disasters, we're in for a wild ride. This private server is our playground, free from the hustle and bustle of public servers. It's your chance to explore without any crowds, discovering the ins and outs of each map like a pro. In our online hangout, collaboration is the secret sauce. We're talking a lively, chatty vibe with a twist of turn-taking and mutual respect to keep the good times rolling. Limited spots ensure a positive, social experience for everyone involved. This class is all about you leading the charge. It's laid-back, informal, and focused on building connections with fellow gamers. Let's dive into the game, have a blast with those extra features, and enjoy the camaraderie. It's not just about surviving disasters; it's about thriving together! Quick note: I might hit the mute button occasionally to keep things running smoothly. But fear not, it's all in the name of respect and turn-taking for a positively social gaming experience. Who's pumped for "Natural Disaster Survival Modded"? 🌪️🌟

Parental Guidance
The website Common Sense Media rated Roblox age 13. This is largely due to the unmoderated nature of the games, and the ability to chat. This class will include gameplay in a private server, with only the other class participants, so this is a safer way to interact with the game. The participants will need to become an in-game friend with the teacher for the duration of the class.
Supply List
Learners will need a access the zoom classroom and have access to Roblox and the free game Natural Disaster Survival. Learners will need a Roblox account already created (please ask if you need guidance) and to add the teacher as a friend before class (instructions given upon enrolment)

Hi, I'm Astrid and I am a mum of two, and a teacher based in the United Kingdom. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, and I have a Postgraduate degree in teaching Design and Technology. I have worked in schools for over 14 years, and am excited to bring my skills to an online platform.
I love to cook (unless it's dinner - e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y!!), to craft, and my guilty pleasure is gaming! I play Brawl Stars every single day, and I love Roblox (especially Bloxburg!) and Among Us! I am a HUGE Pokémon nerd and love to play Pokémon Go. Expect to see my classes based around these things, because when you love something, it's easy to enthuse others!
I love working with young people and sharing my love of craft & design, textiles, food and gaming, in a fun, engaging and inclusive way. Through seeing the difficulties of my own neurodivergent children in mainstream education, I know first hand of the importance of inclusivity, and strive to make my own lessons both enjoyable and accessible to any learner who wishes to enrol. I like to lead by example, and "make and do" along with the learners, so I am able to cater for a variety of learning styles.
Most of my classes are ongoing, weekly sessions, but these can be also used as one-time classes.
In the aftermath of these difficult times of social distancing, my gaming classes provide a great way for young people to safely connect with their peers and have fun!
I can't wait to welcome you to my classroom!
My class policies:
Subscription (ongoing) classes are billed weekly on a Sunday and can be cancelled on the learner page at any time in advance. Please feel free to attend my ongoing classes just once, by stopping the subscription after class.
Refunds cannot be offered for missed classes, but I offer a flexible transfer policy. Transfer requests must be made 24 hours in advance, and to a different time slot of the same class. Thank you for supporting these policies, that help me maintain smaller class sizes.
