Description
Class Experience
Natural Disaster Survival is a game of fast thinking, team work and excitement. In this class we will meet in my private server, and play multiple rounds of the game together as a team. We will encounter a range of different maps (chosen at random by the game) and we will all survive as long as possible while navigating the difficulties of the variety of natural disasters presented by the game. It's fun to play in a private server, as you have a far better opportunity to explore the maps...
Learners will need a access the zoom classroom and have access to Roblox and the free game Natural Disaster Survival. Learners will need a Roblox account already created (please ask if you need guidance) and to add the teacher as a friend before class (instructions given upon enrolment)
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The website Common Sense Media rated Roblox age 13. This is largely due to the unmoderated nature of the games, and the ability to chat. This class will include gameplay in a private server, with only the other class participants, so this is a safer way to interact with the game. The participants will need to become an in-game friend with the teacher for the duration of the class.
