Class Experience

Shakespeare is one playwright, and poet that has left a huge mark on this world. Over one thousand words that we still use today were invented by Shakespeare himself. Find out why he was so influential, and why he was called "the Bard" in a fun celebration of National Shakespeare Day! In this one time class, I will present about Shakespeare's life using a Google slide presentation. Along the way, I use a lot of student interaction to help learners to grasp an idea of who Shakespeare was. Once the information has been presented, we will play a fun Shakespeare themed game where we learn about some of the words that we still use as well as some of the hilarious insults that you may have never heard before.
Learning Goals

Teacher expertise and credentials
I was trained to teach the Shakespeare Conquest class by the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute. I was an assistant in the class the first two years, and then I taught for the following two years. This is just one part of this class since it works better on the online platform.
