Description
Class Experience
This is a one time class that is part of a larger series called Poetic Devices and Their Poets. In each of these classes, we will spotlight one poet and learn about his or her most beloved poetic devices. Amanda Gorman: Alliteration, Assonance, Consonance, Internal Rhyme, & End Rhyme Amanda Gorman is a master of the above poetic devices. In this class, students will learn about each of these poetic devices and how these devices are used in poetry. As we learn about each device, examples...
Student will gain an understanding of alliteration, assonance, consonance, internal rhyme, and end rhyme and how they are used to craft a poem.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
