In this interactive virtual experience, we will use an external website to go on a virtual expedition to learn about Sojourner, Spirit, Opportunity, Curiosity and Perseverance. I'll lead the group through the virtual adventure and narrate the tour which will include detailed facts. I encourage students to ask questions along the way. We will explore the area where rovers explored on Mars and even a bit of science and physics all while virtually touring spectacular views from NASA images and...
Students will learn a variety of facts about Rovers and Mars. Each student will learn about Sojourner, Spirit, Opportunity, Curiosity and Perseverance that will include images taken by their camera. The intent is to spark each students interest in doing their own further research and possibly pursue their dream in building future rovers.
Progress will be determined by how each student interacts during the course.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
