Students will be read aloud a story about a Narwhal and color a picture. Multiple opportunities for discussions including- about the events of the story, if they would like a pet Narwhal or a pet unicorn, and how to be true to yourself.

Class Experience
Students will be read aloud the heartwarming story about a very cute Narwhal. This cute creature isn't quite sure if he is a unicorn or a narwhal. He will learn in the end it doesn't really matter. Students will learn to be proud of who they are. Students will discuss the events of the story and lessons learned from it. Students will discuss if they would like a pet narwhal or a pet unicorn. The class will finish with students coloring a picture of a friendly narwhal. Students will have a fun...
Students will practice speaking skills by answering questions and taking turns discussing the story. Students will also practice using art skills by coloring a picture. This is meant to be a fun and stress free class. Fun discussions and reminder to believe in yourself - will be the focus of this lesson.
Hello everyone! My name is Sarah Gammon and I am excited to teach with Out School! I am a mom of five amazing kids! I have a Masters Degree in Education and ten years teaching experience. My teaching experience includes teaching 2nd grade, 4th grade, and being a school librarian. I also have two years of experience teaching online. I currently am a school librarian and have the opportunity of teaching hundreds of students each week. I have taught thousands of kids over the years and I can’t wait to teach yours!
