In this one-time course, learners will discuss the book: Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea. This is the first book in the series, A Narwhal and Jelly Book series. Students should read the book or have someone read the book aloud prior to class as we will not read the book during class. I will ask questions to help aid in the discussion of the book. We will discuss the characters, setting, and events. Learners will be given the opportunity to share his/her favorite part of the story. Learners will learn facts about narwhals and jellyfish through the use of a slideshow presentation. Learners will also complete a directed drawing of Narwhal and Jellyfish. Book clubs are a wonderful way to help children discover their love of reading. A Narwhal and Jelly Book series is fun and engaging. Students will not only laugh but also learn about friendship. This course only covers book #1 in my book club for A Narwhal and Jelly Book series. You may order the book, Narwhal: Unicorn of the Sea, from popular booksellers. Students should have their copy of the book during class.
