My name is Teacher Shannon from New York. I am an enthusiastic teacher who provides a warm and inviting classroom environment conducive to learning. I hold a B.S. in the field of Speech-Language Pathology. My experience includes clinical experience in San Francisco, California. I have 15 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings.

This is my first year teaching fun drawing classes for all ages. My classes are a great opportunity for language immersion! Engaging in arts and social interaction can boost confidence and make us feel more engaged and resilient.

Drawing also plays a big role in cognitive development. Drawing helps children to write and think creatively, develop hand-eye coordination, hone analytical skills, and conceptualize ideas. I look forward to helping mold your child into a creative, life-long learner!

Professional Highlights:
Taught English to children in China
Worked at a nationally recognized college preparatory school in Brighton, N.Y.
Clinical internship experience at a pediatric speech and language center in San Francisco, CA
Worked at an arts and movement academy in Pittsford-Mendon N.Y.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and hiking with my dog, Sadie. :)
