Class Experience

Learners will take time to share their ideas and work together as they individually write a geeky novel for NaNoWriMo.
I love writing stories and have been coming up with new stories and novels for around 15 years. I have self-published novels on Amazon. I'm also an experienced ESL teacher, having given a wide variety of English classes (including grammar, sentence structure, writing, etcetera) for over 7 years.
Learners are expected to write outside of class. Time spent on their novel depends completely on the learner (how long they want to make their novel, how much detail they want to add, etcetera).
 2 files available upon enrollment
Your learner will need either physical or digital materials to write their novel. It can include but not be limited to printer paper, notebook paper, a notebook, a laptop or tablet, pens, markers, pencils, etcetera.
There is no assessment. The end goal is to write a novel and grow as a writer.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
While the novel topics are open, please make sure that the topic(s) your learner chooses are within Outschool guidelines (for example, there should not be excessive gore/violence/adult themes).
