Class Experience
Hello my lovelies, I am always looking for new ways to make math easier; because it is the part of reading that gets left out! In this class, learners will not only improve their communication, interaction, critical thinking and social skills; they will also learn the symbols and words of numbers through games, puzzles, worksheets and other activities. It is designed to improve thinking, reasoning, debating, investigative, observational, active listening, team building & taking turns and...
Students will learn: - Effective ways of communicating - How to interact with others - A boost in self-confidence - How to read the language of maths - Simple ways to understand numbers, adding and subtraction - Understanding multiplication, basic division and the understanding of Bertram Orders Dried Mangoes; Apples; Sugar (Brackets; Orders=powers, indices, roots; Division; Multiplication; Addition & Subtraction- AKA-BODMAS) Please Embrace My Dear Aunt Suki (Parenthesis; Exponents=powers, indices, roots; Multiplication; Division; Addition & Subtraction- AKA-PEMDAS).
I have been a reading specialist for more than 20 years and I am always looking for new ways to make math easier; because it is the part of reading that gets left out! I have been making up games since I was a teenager; so being able to design classes and games on Zoom for learners on Outschool; to help with their reading, English, Math and play; in their own time with their families and friends is an honour!
