Hello my lovelies, I am always looking for new ways to make math easier; because it is the part of reading that gets left out! In this class, learners will not only improve their communication, interaction, critical thinking and social skills; they will also learn the symbols and words of numbers through song, games, puzzles, worksheets and other activities. It is designed to improve thinking, reasoning, debating, investigative, observational, active listening, team building & taking turns...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn: - Effective ways of communicating - How to interact with others - A boost in self-confidence - The beginnings of how to read the language of maths - Simple ways to understand numbers band symbols
I have been a reading specialist for more than 20 years and as I said earlier, I am always looking for new ways to make math easier; because it is the part of reading that gets left out! I have been making up games since I was a teenager; so being able to design classes and games on Zoom for learners on Outschool; to help with their reading, English, Math and play; in their own time with their families and friends is an honour!
Don't forget to bring counters, buttons, 3- 4 sheets of plain paper or 1 exercise book, pen, pencil, rubber & colouring pencils.
20 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
