I have been a reading specialist for more than 20 years and I have been making up games since I was a teenager; so being able to design classes and games on Zoom for learners on Outschool; to help with their reading and play in their own time with their families and friends is an honour!
Homework will be: Revision for weekly spelling tests (letter recognition for younger students) Writing a review of a piece of text ( a story book or a picture for younger students) given by Nana-Bee. Journal (older students) about feelings throughout the week, to produce a class journal/story at the end of term. Homework is individually and group, no more than an hour a week.
Items required for assessment and each session: favourite book (for assessment only) 3- 4 sheets of A4 plain paper and 2 exercise books (for class work & journal) pen, pencil, rubber, colouring pencils scissors (adult supervision maybe needed) puppets are always welcome!
