In this class learners will not only learn critical thinking skills; but they will also develop their social skills and conversational skills. Week 1 - Learning the names of the pieces. Week 2 - Learning how to set-up the board. Week 3 - Learning how the the pieces move. Week 4 - Learning how to play the game Week 5 onwards - Playing chess against each other and Nana-Bee. I have been playing chess since the age of 7 years old. By the time I was 9 years old I was the number 2 player in the region (of local primary schools in the UK). I play chess online and with friends at every opportunity; winning most of the games. I can show starting moves and winning moves to your learner as they grow to be amazing players.
