I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Florida. I have 15 years of professional theater experience (Broadway and Regional) and over a decade of experience auditioning in NYC.
During this course, students will: 1. Create a theater resume 2. Conduct a free headshot session 3. Gather necessary audition materials 4. Build a versatile "audition book" full of audition ready songs 5. Develop a daily vocal regimen to strengthen and train their voice 6. Record and share a musical theater song of their choosing 7. Record and share a one minute monologue of their choosing
The only tangible materials needed are a black 3 ring binder, non glare sheet protectors and prints of digital sheet music. Students do not need these items at the beginning of the course.
