Class Experience
Calling all unicorn and mermaid fans! In this one time art class, learners will make two puppet crafts using spoons. Unicorns and mermaids are from different places. Students will listen to a digital story about a unicorn and a mermaid becoming friends. We will talk about how we can be friends with anyone no matter where they live, what they look like and what they experience. Students will learn the importance of being a good friend. Students will use their creativity to make two puppets that they can use to make their own story at home.
I have been teaching English online for almost 4 years. I have taught over 6,000 classes on an online platform. I have also written two children’s books. I love having students learn lessons in creative ways through art.
- 2 plastic spoons - tape - markers - 2 pieces of blank paper - Scissors Please bring any unicorn or mermaid item you may have to share with the class!
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be cutting paper and using tape. Parental support is always encouraged if the student needs help.
