Class Experience

Unsolved mysteries that may never been solved are so fascinating to me. I love to incorporate them into my history classes. Kids and adults alike can't help but be drawn in and captivated by the strange occurrences all while learning about different time periods, cultures, and historic events.
Materials for the upcoming class will be posted in the classroom prior to the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
All content is suitable for the age range of the class. As part of each week's mystery, contextual information will be given as to the time period and the people effected by the occurrence. Practices and beliefs of the cultures involved will be discussed. Theories, though sometimes unlikely, will be discussed and considered including supernatural occurrences.

Discussion will be an important part of the class. Students are expected to approach each class with an open-mind and with respect for other class members.
