Mythology in the Percy Jackson Universe and Beyond

Each class will be covering different characters or creatures from mythology. The majority of the lessons will cover Greek mythology, but others like Roman, Egyptian, Norse, etc. will be taught as well (see schedule for details). Each lesson will start with a discussion of what the students know about that particular lesson's god, hero, or creature followed by that subject's story, either read by myself or through a video. The students will explore pictures of ancient artwork through slides, play games to test their knowledge over the lesson, do fun activities (personality tests, crossword puzzles, word searches etc.), and/or make a project with arts and crafts time at the end of each lesson. Each session begins in September and concludes in August of the following year.

***NOTE: If no students log in to class within 10 minutes of start time, the class will close down and no recording will be made.****
