In this 4 Lesson Self-Paced Class, we'll explore four of the world's most fascinating Ancient Mythologies. Each week will focus on a different mythology, including modern renditions in popular culture and lessons on the history and culture of each Ancient Civilization. I'm a huge mythology buff and currently teach popular and well-reviewed live Outschool classes in Greek, Norse, Japanese, and Egyptian Mythology in Popular Culture. I've also studied ancient cultures at Georgetown University, including a class in Ancient Greek Religion. I'm combining them together here in the Self-Paced format and am excited to share my knowledge and love of ancient culture and mythology with you!
Clips from PG-13 movies will be shown, but will be pre-screened by the instructor to be age-appropriate for the class (no gratuitous violence, sexuality, profanity, etc)
