Description

Class Experience

After I earned Bachelors in Fine Art from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, I was a public school art teacher for three years. I love teaching drawing, painting, sculpture and Photoshop to learners of all ages. There's a special place in my heart for creative works and the artists that make them, especially fantasy stories and narrative artworks, comics and graphic novels.
Drawing pencils preferred (2B, 4B, 6B, Ebony) Large eraser (pink, white or fun shapes) and/or Art Gum Eraser (preferred) White printer paper or drawing paper Colored Pencils (Prismacolor 12-pack recommended), Markers, or Crayons
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Warning: This class may contain violence in the artworks and/or discussion. Dragons aren't always docile, friendly creatures, and we should occasionally expect them to start a fire! Dragons may be friendly, dream-walking magical beings, or they may be at war with the neighboring village. If your child doesn't like sometimes mean, scary, fire-breathing dragons or the weapons that may be used to fight them, this might not be the class for them!
