Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
After I earned Bachelors in Fine Art from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, I was a public school art teacher for three years. I love teaching drawing, painting, sculpture and Photoshop to learners of all ages. There's a special place in my heart for creative works and the artists that make them, especially fantasy stories and narrative artworks, comics and graphic novels.
#2 or "HB" pencils
Large eraser (pink, white or fun shapes) and/or Art Gum Eraser (preferred)
White printer paper or drawing paper
Colored Pencils (Prismacolor 12-pack recommended), Markers, or Crayons
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Warning: This class may contain violence in the artworks and/or discussion. Dragons aren't always docile, friendly creatures, and we should occasionally expect them to start a fire! Dragons may be friendly, dream-walking magical beings, or they may be at war with the neighboring village. If your child doesn't like sometimes mean, scary, fire-breathing dragons or the weapons that may be used to fight them, try the one-time, Friendly Dragon class, even if your learner is older:
