Students will create two paintings of mystical creatures on canvas. Creatures may vary. Learn drawing concepts through use of basic shapes. Learn how to modify their project based on available materials and skill. Complete a fun and engaging project for home decor or gift giving. In the first hour of class, I will discuss materials and basic drawing concepts. The last hour will be working with acrylic paint and making adjustments along the way to accommodate the learners' current abilities. This will be done in a relaxed student-led atmosphere. Active discussion will be throughout the process. No previous experience is necessary, just a positive attitude.
