Do you like a good mystery? Do you like to keep guessing until you can figure it out? Then, this class is for you! In this class, students will t bring an item they love and have the opportunity to share it with the class. The student will keep that item off screen until the class has guessed it. After the class has guessed it, they may briefly share why they chose that item. Through the use of questions students will be able to hone their reasoning abilities all while making new friends! * Since we want to make this a positive experience for all students, I ask that student's refrain from making negative comments of what others brought to share.

Hello, thank you for showing interest in my classes! My name is Alyssa Thurow and I received my Associates Degree in Business Administration in 2016. In addition to online teaching, I have been a substitute teacher for the last 3 years. Throughout the last three years I have worked with children of all ages teaching a variety of subjects. I have found through my experience that children can grasp a topic or life skill so much quicker through the use of visual aids and games. My ultimate goal for when students leave my class is that they learned skills that will help them further their educational journey while having a good time doing it. Throughout your student’s and I's time together, I plan to bring positive energy and enthusiasm that makes the student want to learn more. A little bit about me is that I have been married to my wonderful husband for 7 years. Recently we got our first puppy that has brought us a lot of joy and keeps us on our toes.
