Description

Class Experience

Students will have access to the information about the suspects and completed clues outside of the live sessions. They should prepare to share their evidence on the last day to explain why they believe their chosen suspect caused the telescope to disappear.
Optional (if the student wishes to try some of the experiments on their own):
-coffee filters, various black markers from different brands-including water soluble versions, pencil, tape, container
-water soluble black marker, paper, clear masking tape
-Various shoes (just observe)
-magnifying glass, various dirt samples, (and, if available, tall thing containers to shake and let dirt samples settle in water.)
The other experiments involve more safety issues and will be done as a demo.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will be using documents in a Google Slide presentation that I created about a Golden Telescope taken from the Planetarium. Students will be give access to sets of slides after each class session so they can build their own case about the suspect they think was involved.
