In this ongoing class, students will have the opportunity to travel from the top of North America, exploring the many countries inside Central America, to the bottom of South America. Students will have a chance to study the Americas. The students will get to know what food people like, how they dress, and if they speak different languages. Teacher Ashley has spent over ten years traveling throughout Latin America and will use her travels and actual photos to help teach the class. During...
Teacher Ashley has a degree in Education and has additional training in studying cultures and diversity by living in multiple Latin American and European countries. Students will be allowed to ask questions about the different cultures and will teach children the importance of diversity. Classes are unbiased, factual, inclusive, and exclusive of sensationalized content. She has lived and has experienced cultures in Latin America by previously living in Panama, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
